Fraud International Transactions on AXIS CC - Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi,

There were 4 attempts on my Axis Magnus Card last week and I just saw attempts on my Axis Vistara too. Both of them were international transactions (One was on playstation). Thankfully my international transactions were disabled and the transactions did not go through. But my friend also had fraud transaction on his magnus card which went through. He had to call and immediately block the card.

I also called customer care and got my Magnus card replaced. Will get the Visatara card replaced too. Would recommend folks to switch off international transactions and limit POS and online transactions too.

Has anyone else also experienced this? Wondering where the leak happened? This is also after RBI regulations that card details will stored securely now.

I've used that card in a few countries and quite often in online foreign shops and actually think that Axis is overzealous. A few times now my card has gotten blocked instantly when shopping online on foreign sites and then sends me an email and call with the details of the "suspicious" transaction that I just made; you need to accept or decline it, and until you do that the card remains blocked.
