Got offcial confirmation from INDIE team that there will not be any passbook, chequebook or netbanking for this account. I have 811 kotak account and it gives both app and netbanking facility

Anyone still able to load money via debit card? Pretty sure it showed up last month for me. Is this a new change or is it just for me?

Bhai for now I have transferred all my money form that bank to my primary account
And I have decided to close this account
Regarding reporting part I had a call with au bank CRM he said don't worry as it was one note

I have ordered a cash counting machine for now so that it won't happen again

What happens to the fake note

If we use the Cash deposit Machine and not the cashier

I was told that for first time it will throw it out as rejected
Next time if we try to deposit same again
It will impound that in forged note bin under machine
Alongwith debit card /account number so that it can be reported


On more practical side
Usually machine reject some notes that are soiled so we try to again insert them so there is high chance fake one get impounds

Jiski choti se shop j usko agar koi galat note de gaya bhid mai to how can he know ki wo fake hai evryone is not having machines
Bank only can tell that
It's true they can impound and upto 4 note a transaction FIR is not filed

main thing is making a embarassing situations in front of other customers
That's what made me pissed off yesterday

HDFC ka Cashier bolta sir yeh 100 ke 2 notes change kardo🤣

Because of the people who have abused it for the milestone of a business debit card.
