Get Canara Bank RuPay Select Credit and Debit Card - at Zero Joining and Annaul fees

By now many of you would have realised the outsized benefits of RuPay Select Credit and Debit Cards. I recently discovered that a Salary Account with Canara Bank gives you their RuPay Select Credit and Debit Card without any joining fees. Some categories even get 'LTF', i.e. with zero annual fees.

As far as I know, this is the cheapest way to get a RuPay Select CC (and DC too) available right now.

Hi, I’m an existing Canara bank account holder. I don’t have any debit card. When I visited the branch today, they said only Rupay platinum is available with them and they are unaware of Rupay select card only. How do I proceed from here? Can I get Rupay platinum now and then upgrade to select through mobile banking(if that’s even possible)

I visited Canara Bank today & have submitted an application for Platinum Account. They say Account will be opened today and the kit will be couriered to the address. Credit card must be applied later. If anyonView attachment 20566e requires assistance in Chennai, DM me I will share Branch Manager's number.

i doubt the transparency of the bank. each bank's website has schedule of charges for each of its account variants. nothing such for canara bank. TnC for accounts also not present. getting a very primitive feeling of their site.
