Got IDFC wealth credit card very easily

Anyone looking to apply for IDFC wealth credit card, go through this post once

I used to apply for IDFC credit cards last year. Every time it got rejected. This time I went to a mall and applied through an agent there.

The process was very simple. He said there are only two criteria for IDFC wealth cc. I only wanted wealth.
1. Salary 4 lakhs
OR
2. Existing card limit 4 lakhs for c2c and at least 1 year old card

I applied c2c using my ICICI apay card with 4.1 lakh limit and 1.2 years old, contray to popular belief it doesn’t work for c2c. The agent did all the application, no salary slips, no documents. Don’t know what salary he filled, but I was shown wealth and applied. I was surprised though.

Later office address verification happened on phone, I said I wfh. I was also sent a mail on my office email to verify company address and name. Process was smooth, even though their portal sucks. Approved within 3 days excluding weekend. Got same limit as apay.

I know this card is devalued now, but still it’s good for offers and dreamfolks membership, which I guess doesn’t have any minimum spends criteria.

10 days earlier I got sapphiro LTF under alumni program, and also got axis select. This is my last application of the year. Next year, I am looking to apply DCB or regalia LTF.

EDIT on 31st July: I received my card. If anyone wondering the lounge access associated with this card. Here’s the detailed info I checked on dreamfoks.

Domestic lounge: 4/qtr, can use cc or dreamfolks card. I know people might challenge this, but IDFC’s partnership with dreamfoks is a bit different compared to ICICI. Hence can use both

International lounge: 4/qtr using dreamfolks card

Railway lounge: 4/qtr. Can take 1 guest as well on that card

Domestic Airport spa: 4/qtr

Grand Total: 16, definitely worth for a LTF card

If you have other CC with 5L limit, then you could have tried the C2C route to get Wealth.
Now since you already have Select, you could search this forum for how to upgrade to Wealth CC.

I did apply via card 9 lakh hdfc and 30l annual and they offered me this card LTF. I might request next year after if i feel but for now, i am happy for idfc card.

Do you belong to metro city? Verifications are next to none if Aadhaar address has metro city pincode.

Card approved yesterday.

I checked on IDFC before in sep or oct and they were offering me select. I used indusind 4.62 for c2c and listed 36L as income. I didn't apply then.

Got a message on 3rd December from one agent and applied through him. Same card limit and income mentioned. This time IDFC offered wealth. Applied on 3rd, verification was completed on 7th and card approved on 12th with 5L limit.

If anyone needs phone no of agent, dm me. He is 3rd party, not from idfc. So do try at your own risk. Guy was genuine though throughout the process. Also IDFC shows which card would be applied for before they ask for aadhaar verification code, so if you are using agent, make it clear that aadhaar otp won't be provided if they don't show the screenshot of the card offer screen.

Received Application Rejection Message Today 🙁

I applied again on December 15th with the same process I did earlier. And this time it got approved weirdly, with no home or office verification. It went to the credit review stage on December 15 itself after VKYC, and my application was stuck at the credit review stage for the past 8 days before the approval message tonight. IDFC works in mysterious ways, lol.

Got same error. Contact them on twitter. I got this error after my physical verification. Somehow the work address verification caused an issue. IDFC sent me a link which asked for work address details again, then another agent came for physical verification at work again.
