Mostly banks will start issuing companion rupay card with the same benefits they are providing rn. Like IDFC first bank, core card and upi card with different card number linked with core card.

Currently, All IDFC Primary Visa/mastercards are not available on RuPay variant yet (Except IDFC RuPay HPCL Power/Power+ fuel credit card).

IDFC Digital Virtual RuPay Credit Card is floater card.

IDFC customers ko bewakuf bana rahe hai aur customers bann rahe hai.

IDFC Primary Visa/mastercards agar RuPay me available hota toh atleast digital RuPay variant card spend pe same reward mil raha hota.

Dono alag card hai.

NPCI just released a circular, ordering banks to maintain parity between the rewards/cashback/etc between UPI and other transaction modes; to go into effect by September 2024.

As they are not earning mdr on these transactions
I mean the transaction less than 2k

RuPay Credit Cards Rewards Parity w.e.f. 1st September 2024

Credit card rewards points are a key lever to drive spending on credit cards. It has been observed that the rewards points, benefits & features for RuPay credit cards on UPI transactions are not equivalent to the rewards points, benefits & features offered on Card transactions.

Member banks are expected to adhere to the circular by 1st September 2024.

Kisne bola ? RuPay credit card and Visa credit card k rewards same hai. Koi difference nahi hai.

Koi aisa card batao jo Visa/Mastercard and RuPay me available hai and alag alag reward points milte ho. Aisa kuch nahi hota hai, banks kabhi bhi discriminate nahi karta hai. Kuch technical issue jarur aate hai jaise lazy ICICI bank wale dhang se Reward point ko timely implement nahi kar pa rahe hai woh sab alag cases hai.

Ab yeh circular k baad CC UPI pe bhi same reward milega.

Kahi kahi toh CC UPI k MDR aur jada hai, Banks ko toh aur jada profit aayega CC UPI transaction pe.
