After paytm fiasco i think people should undertand no intermediary is safe

Buy directly via mutuak funds websites or MFU online

Avoid demat (also costs extra when u sell)

if direct investments are made into the market you would require a demat and as for safety
shares are held with a depository not the broker
and as far as mutual funds are concerned directly investing with the fund house is better

Bro shares are deposited at cdsl & nsdl .
U can transfer shares via csdl / nsdl portal without broker login .
Just with dp if & pin

any should be good.
I personally have zerodha, Groww & fyers
all of them are good.
Groww is bit user friendly & fyers have better charts..

groww is 0 amc, no charges will be applicable..
but it zerodha you have to pay 300rs

charges are very less. free delivery & 0 AMC.
Have a good customer care & charts are better..(no mutual fund though).

Keep zerodha as primary. Backup you can keep dhan. Rest all have hidden charges.
