People who had icici savings account opened offline, what is the procedure and do they ask for income proof or salary slip during account application process?

For normal savings account, there is no need of any income document to open an offline icici savings account.
Just fill the form with all your details and handover initial funding cheque.. ICICI SB account is all yours once the cheque is cleared... enjoy ...

Thread says online and your comment says offline, so what’s your question about?
His question was he wanted to open a icici sb account.. he wanted to apply online if possible.. but if he had to go go thru offline process, he wanted to know whether he had to submit any income doc..it seems he hasn't got income doc..and hence his question..

Any idea for IF cheque for wealth banking? Heard some got with 1L IF also.
Yes, I opened my WM account with 1 L cheque about more than 2 years ago..
I got email invite from WM RM based on my 5L APAY relationship with them at that time..
Times might have changed now..not sure though

Is it still WM today or downgraded to privilege
Or do you maintain 5L balance in it to keep it WM

Usually 30L FD needed right?
As far as I know there is no strict criteria as of now.. yes by text book i think it was around that figure.. but in practice 10 to 15L will do...

10L fd in an old account should be sufficient. Banks also don’t like to poke much as there is literally zero benefits (and therefore zero additional cost) between privilege and wealth banking.
