Devaluation HDFC Bank All Credit Cards including Infinia devalued effective from 1st Sept 2024

HDFC Bank all credit card devaluation effective from 1st Sept, 2024.

Effective from 1st Sept, 2024:
1. Maximum 2000 reward points per month on Utility spends. Telecom & cable transactions will have a separate limit of 2000 reward points per month.
2. No reward points on education fees payment via online portals like cred, cheq, etc.

Effective from 1st Oct, 2024:
3. One apple product redemption per quarter.
4. Maximum 50,000 reward points can be redeemed against Tanishq GV per quarter.

Either way they are going to charge 1% over 50k/month on Utility spends. To earn 2k RP you would have to spend 60k at 3.33%. I think HDFC forgot to add this clause in the previous t&c update 😂. Now they realised that above 50k also people could pay 1% and earn 2.33% effective return.

I am not sure about Regalia or some other niche cards. I'd be surprised if they're left out.

Tanishq and Apple vouchers aren’t available for other cards!

True. Cappings on RPs for utility and education payment via 3rd parties - these have been rolled out for all cards.

Is this for all HDFC credit Cards?

I think this is only for direct utility payments for tata payments there will be no cap(max 2500) on reward points

Bhai this is inclusive of Tata Pay payments!!

Whatever utility payment you will do in Tata Neu, including Neu pass, this limit will be inclusive of that!

In other words, Tata Neu app will also give max 2000 neu coins!
