HDFC Bank Credit Card - Unable to apply (Application already exist in system)

Just to give a brief background, I'm holding HDFC Savings account since 2013.
I had applied for a HDFC CC in Feb22 but the application was not completed since my address in bank records was old and HDFC was not accepting Rent Lease as address proof for CC application; therefore I did not proceed with the application and forgot about it.

Later I updated my address in my Savings account to my current address which is now completed.
Now last week I received a pre-approved Regalia LTF offer based on my relationship with HDFC in my Offers section; when I tried to submit the application, it shows error that my application already exists in system and hence I cannot apply again.

I'm not sure if this is referring to the old Feb22 application which I had not submitted?
How to go about with deleting the old one in-order to complete the new offer?

Mail the grievance redressal team explain your previous application scenario and ask them to close the previous application.

You would be then able to apply.
But I doubt if you would be able to apply again as most of the banks have cooling period of 6 months for next application.

I would advise you to first have a word with your BM/RM.
 
Somewhere i had mentioned about the same, since i had same issue. Finally i had to complain to nodal team and processed through offline method. But in offline method, you may lose any offers like amazon voucher...

Or you wait for six months timeline from your last application date and apply online again.

As checked on the above link; it shows no application found. Maybe because I actually did not complete the application back then since I was not able to change the address in my application which was picking up from my account details.

I've already reached out to HDFCCares Twitter handle as I find the Twitter responses better and to the point as compared to Email responses from HDFC.

in this case... I'd suggest you to email HDFC Credit Card grievance team and request them to process your application.
