My Opinion:-
Undoubtedly, the HDFC Bank IRCTC Credit Card is one of the top IRCTC co-branded credit cards in the market. Unlike other IRCTC credit cards, such as the SBI IRCTC credit card, this card does not have a ticket class capping. The capping on the maximum reward points accrual is reasonable. Therefore, I believe that this is the ideal IRCTC credit card for frequent or moderate railway travelers.

1% or normal reward points which is credited to card
There is change of terms and portal is upgrading
so some part is directly credited in the credit card. only the irctc ticket reward is not getting credited in card and it is getting accumulated as reward point in reward portal of irctc . which yiu are not getting reddeemed. am i gussing correct

No i would suggest staying away ..even yesterday i wrote to HDFC MD desk 🙁
Now they have redemption fee of 99+GST which eventually drops the value

You can't book tatkal tickets in smarts buy
now are you able to redeem that 5%?
i thought is best for irctc but because of hdfc mess its wrost.

Not yet but will be soon available they are rolling in phases.
I agree that railway doesn't make much profit i can say reward rate is 7% not 10% owning we have redemption fee.
so it is best for irctc comparing with sbi, bob?
and for tatkal ticket if i book ticket in irctc app through rupay credit card upi payment will i get 5%?
