HDFC Bank RuPay Regalia Credit Card has no International Airport Lounge Access!

Recently I managed to get one of the Regalia Card converted from VISA to RUPAY variant via Email to the HDFC Team.
After receiving the RUPAY card, I dropped an email to check about Priority Pass if the old one will still continue to work or new pass will get issued.

And the response from them was a shocker - "No Priority Pass applicable for Rupay Regalia Card"

I again checked with them how the lounge access benefit will work without the priority pass and the response gave the double shock this time -
"Lounge Access benefit not there in Rupay Regalia Card"

Also not sure if any lounge benefit available directly by RUPAY for this card.

So guys anyone trying for getting their Regalia card converted to Rupay variant, please hold on to this until bank comes with dedicated product page or T&C for Rupay variant card on their website.

Though I have other cards with unlimited lounge access benefit so not concerned much with above, but disappointed with incomplete information from HDFC before converting the card to RUPAY.

Also anyone who have received the Rupay Regalia card, please check with the bank on the lounge benefit and share the response once received.

I am thinking of getting my Regalia LTF VISA variant to Rupay. I have a PP with Regalia. Read this thread that the Priority Pass won't work if variant is switched to Rupay.

Also, I have been to Encalme Lounge twice in last three months and Regalia Visa is not accepted for free lounge access. So the variant is anyways not useful for lounge access. Will the Rupay one work for lounge access?

RuPay cards are currently not reliable on International lounge access. Most banks disabled International lounge access for RuPay cards.

Domestic lounge access now control by HDFC bank.

Download tata neu and apply for rupay select card. It can be linked with upi now and also u get lounge access 2 per quarter.

I got approval for priority pass on rupay regalia. You can pay other credit card bill from upi linked rupay regalia through amazon.

But, the greatest benefit of rupay regalia is upi linkage and transfer to bank account upto 1 lakh free. Check out my post here
