HDFC cancelled secured card (FD backed) application

I recently applied for a secured credit (FD backed) at the branch. They said I can get Regalia Gold for a 5 lac FD so I did the necessities yet after 2 weeks the application was declined. Why did this happen? Can someone explain.

Break the FD and move your funds. Show them you mean business.

You can also raise a complaint for mis-selling

How can anyone else explain that ?

It is one of the many illogical, stupid, inexplainable n silly things they do daily.

Even HDFC staff can't explain it.
