HDFC Debit Card UPgrade - Is it worth it ?

Hi all,


I have been getting this HDFC Debit card upgrade offer for years now, wasn't part of the community hence never looked at debit card as potential game changer (CC billpay) before.


Hence need help if I shall upgrade to any of the offered cards (Screenshot attached), will the upgrades Debit card be chargeable or free as my current Debit card is.

Holding Card : Visa Easyshop Platinum Debit Card

You already get 1% upto 750 with your existing card. If your expenditure is less than 40k, then get Millennia card. You can get it irrespective of your spending only if required.

Yes but for that you should have 2 accounts. One card per account

For Imperia , all those DCs are free, but you already got best possible card..

Yes, they allow 2 accounts on the same PAN. Both the account will be linked to same customer id.

For credit card bill payments and wallet reload. Platinium card don't give cashback

Currently holding Millenia DC. If these give 1%, then Platinum DC would be better choice for me.

Yep, you can keep one as salary account (zero balance) another savings max

I use one for UPI and other for high value investments.
