HDFC Diners Millenia under Institute program

For context I am a first year student at a tier 1 institute in the HDFC institute list with a HDFC Rupay IOCL credit card
I emailed hdfc for credit card upgrade under institute and they told me that I am eligible for a diners millenia credit card which will be life time free. They further added some documents required which included Salary Slips and ITR. Being a student I have no salary slips and my previous year ITR was just a mere Rs 8000.
So I wanted to know if there is a required limit for institute program and is the application bound to get rejected?

Yeah😂 For LTF card under institute program you need to have salary above ₹1.5L per month. Some got special approval via mail for 90k+ income. So you can get it only after joining the job.

Exactly😂 what's the use of program when all these conditions have to be met. And then your institute name will be visible on the card which makes it weird.

HDFC is like an uncle who doesn't like to change as per time and then ppl will give up from him after sometime.

No.
DCB requires net monthly salary of 1.75L+ and DCP requires 75K+. For Millenia it is like 35K+. As a student you wont be able to do that and I suggest dont go for it.
And at this point I highly doubt why you even need such premium credit cards.
Enjoy your college life buddy, you will surely gonna miss it when after your graduation.
Do all this stuff when you enter the real adulthood with all the responsibilities xD
