HDFC Ergo & Apple Watch Reimbursement: A Massive Scam? - India Gets Moving Campaign

My policy terminated without any clarification, i received mail on 2nd feb 2025 at 3:25pm regarding termination 🚨, even after so many mails, calls still no proper response from HDFC ERGO Team.

Very big SCAM 🚨 🚨

Only new thing is they expanded their looter base to loot from non Apple users this time by partnering with hdfc which itself has a huge base they loot
Perfect synergy

Also apple watch doesn't track GPS by default unlike good watches unless you press begin workout.. Which most users won't do so GPS data cannot be used to validate most of it
 
With high sales achieved, Apple wants this Promotion to be back with some partners but only after this mess is cleaned.
Irrespective, with whatever colors this comes, benefits will get reduced for sure.

Ohh, GPS tracking on watch is news to me, agree most dont know, me one of them. Don't use Apple watch myself. If this is the case, it will really impossible to evidence the usage, ONLY if given a chance.

I today TOI 6th Feb 2025, Insurance Ombudsman vacancies, whoever suffered from above scam, try to get selected here and then once you are authority, you can yourself file Insurance Ombudsman complaint to these companies 😀 and you can ask all details and they can't simply deny it to give why they rejected your claim 😇😂

It will be considered a conflict of interest. And anyone with such a high post will never have to run after such offers 😉

True and so will the sales get reduced drastically then...lets face it most people end up buying it just because it is free and they buy it to show off for free

Even if they make the rewards to 50% of the cost it will still rule out 90% of the people....and at that point probably 90%-95% of the remaining 10% buyers would have anyways bought this watch...so overall this campaign would just reward buyers for doing what they were anyways planning to do...so seems very hard for them to get a good incremental sales/cost ratio here

The issue was highlighted in January 2025 in the TF Community. Later, people posted it on X & other social media platforms, so... by the logic... we should demand credit from everyone who is now posting it on YouTube or other social media.

BTW... I don't know who you're referring to, as I don't really watch YouTube much.
 
Many people who redeemed their rewards on January 10 and 20 received refunds today, but I, who redeemed on January 5, am still waiting. Additionally, I made a second redemption today. I genuinely complete more than 19,000 steps per day, and I've been doing this since May 2024. However, some individuals are committing fraud, which is affecting those of us who are genuinely participating. I don’t believe there is any chance of recovery. I trusted Apple and HDFC, but it seems both are taking advantage of their customers. Regardless of whether my refund comes or not, my stance remains the same: both companies act like looters and scammers.

same redeemed on 17 jan and not recd , mostly we will receive mails by this sunday or monday!
 
I had past history of doing 12000 steps regularly, according to them i must be knowing about hdfc launching this offer and i was faking the steps for all these years xD.
mailed on their grievance mail id and received the copy paste email within 30 mins saying the decision is final.
Mailed on the cgo email and got the rejection mail from them also within 30 minutes

They aren't even reading the emails it seems

Same I had also made my redemption on 5th Jan and it has crossed 30 day timeline.
I work in retail store and I usually walk around 12-15k steps daily in store so all my steps are legit despite that I think they will also reject my claim

aaj bhot logo ka aa chuka hai even who have donr redemption on 2 feb , so mostly jiska nahi aaya hai usko mail aana bacha hai !
 
So my friend received first and second months refund till now he doesn't run on treadmill or do any kind of gym activity vs me who did 40-50% of steps in the gym itself. Even though there is no mention anywhere that you can't use any sort of equipment. So play it safe whoever haven't received rejection yet.
 
Any idea or guesses how are they figuring whether the steps are legit or not? On what basis they are accepting or rejecting claims?
 
I heard that some people whose claims were rejected earlier, received a claim approval message in the night. Please confirm if you received any email and what you did. Where did you complain?
