I heard that some people whose claims were rejected earlier, received a claim approval message in the night. Please confirm if you received any email and what you did. Where did you complain?

My policy and claim got rejected on 2nd Feb 2024 and now yesterday I have received 2 emails stating that my both claims are approved and amount will be credited in bank shortly.

So not a scam looks like. They must be trying hard to reject the claims wherever possible but not all.

No, It is not updated on the Here app yet. Here app still shows Redemption Initiated status.

I have posted on twitter about the issue on 31st january and received the rejection email on 2nd feb 2:35 PM and after again asked for the rejection reason on twitter on same day, but did not get any response from the team and then received 2 approval email today at 12:04 AM & 12:31 AM and money is credited in account 5 PM.

I today TOI 6th Feb 2025, Insurance Ombudsman vacancies, whoever suffered from above scam, try to get selected here and then once you are authority, you can yourself file Insurance Ombudsman complaint to these companies 😀 and you can ask all details and they can't simply deny it to give why they rejected your claim 😇😂

Yes received 1st month payment, rejected on 2nd feb and policy is reinstated

Nope. You can't keep such criteria.

People may choose to walk on the treadmill and no GPS location changes!

I can walk anytime, morning, evening, late night, or afternoon; cumulative steps for the day are supposed to be 15k+, not any particular pattern.

Heart rate readings can be a distinguishing measure. But, right now, they aren't in the mood to give what they promised. And people will find some hack for heart rate/any other measure taken as well.

Agreed heart rate is actually a distinguish measure, there can still be more than actual 15k steps even when the gps shows no or rare movement. This is especially true for people working in indoor places like workers in hospitals, workers at home, people playing indoor sports etc. I myself have observed this when I was full day at hospital and step count crossed 10k easily. In indoor environments too, we do a lot of step counts without us really realising about it. But that's the con of having a desk job

Arre ingenuity of our people this is easy level... suppose you have a dog... Put that on their leg. . Will require some jugad for how to tie the belt to thin legs like putting cotton or paper or cloth underneath... Or maybe Meesho or some other app already will have apple watch strap for pet

Otherwise always option of tangoing on the pets collar or put it in their "sweater pocket"

I was also thinking how would tie a watch on a pet. But your answer is interesting, India is not for beginners.
