I tried to apply for Biz Black for a family member, but they didn't proceed saying FD is not eligible for the card. I tried with FD amount more than 6 lakhs.

Please share your experiences here in case someone is able to successfully apply for any card.

I’m not sure if anyone has upgraded from a secured card to Infinia based on spends. Would be good for many people if this is possible.

Were you able to complete the process online with an FD and then later received this message in SMS? If yes, which card did you apply for and what was the amount of the FD + maturity date?
Would be great if everyone can share such details 🥹

I was expecting infinia on 10 lacs deposit.

You can upgrade secured card. But problem is once you get secured cc, hdfc mostly doesn't provide LE.
So If you take lower variant cc now, at tge time of upgradation you have to put bigger amount as lien.

Nope opened recently specifically for the fd 8 months ago same for me and got infinia based on the negotiation tried bizblack after that as floater no luck so thought why not use the fd and get bizblack in return but hdfc being hdfc won't give you card easily

What was the negotiation for infinia?

Do you hold any hdfc card earlier?
 
So weird that the maximum credit limit they are offering is 8L and when you try to get card with 8L FD they don't give you a card. But for FDs worth 20L+ they are giving card and that too a lower variant like Biz Power 🤦‍♂️
Hopefully it's just a new feature glitch and they'll solve it soon.

Yes other cards people can get easily unsecured as well bizblack seems worth it but fd amount should be reasonable

can one even transfer FD? Or do you mean you break that union bank fd first and then transferred the amt to hdfc and created new fd?
