I tried to apply for Biz Black for a family member, but they didn't proceed saying FD is not eligible for the card. I tried with FD amount more than 6 lakhs.

Please share your experiences here in case someone is able to successfully apply for any card.

Now the criteria is changed, for fd they didn't mentioned anything for infinia or dcbm.

I already holding RG and thinking of getting upgrade but they are denying inspire of having 7.3 lacs spends.

Only fall in limit that is 3 lacs, so I am saying to increase on basis of fd as per salary they aren't giving more than 2x

even if you make a new fd(inc ur current one), they will still deny?

Almost 8 months ago I got in the credit card game before that was holding kotak league and icici apay and after that got on this forum and understand how credit card can be useful as all the transaction I do is via upi and had house renovation in which could have saved a ton of money if knew what I knew go to know that the best card is infinia for amazon voucher as most of my spend align with it so thought of getting it as you know it is difficult didn't have any relationship with hdfc before negotitated with two branches nearby they were not interested tried a one far away started the negotiations with 2 lakh funding he agreed to get regalia gold then 5 lakh dcb metal but no infinia lured him that I will give him business he told me to get ulip which is useless then gave him one more option will open father's account with 25 lakh fd and this is the beginning want to make a lasting relationship with hdfc as I don't even fulfill the criteria for regalia now so this was the option he agreed get all the approvals and got the card within a month with 11 lakh limit and the highest I had before that was 1.3 lakh

Wow, I am gonna be rude to the nearby hdfc branch whr i opened acc 1 month back and negotiate a infinia.

Ofc I won't reveal any info, just the situation/incident how a distant friend of mine got infinia.

After october when they have changed criteria they have made it impossible to get card which is good for people who have the card but hurts for people who want the card
