Infinia HDFC Infinia Priority Pass Charged for Access in Domestic Indian Airports

Could you provide a cite for the 7th March 2025 date? Considering smartbuy portal is still showing PP lounge access, this is indeed confusing.
I would not trust the Smartbuy portal, when they have clearly updated Infinia metal main page and Lounge T&C.

But Where does it say that it will be charged within India?
They have not mentioned it will be charged. But they have removed that PP is complimentary within India. Previously, they had clearly mentioned PP is complimentary within and outside India, on their Infinia Page and the Lounge T&C pdf. I can share the previous ss, if required.

No, I know that. From my point of view, it's just rephrasing text, not a devaluation and no change is done.

If I remember correctly, 6-7 years back, it didn't used to explicitly mention about add on priority pass, but it was still free.

So, if u r saying that it is chargeable now, based on the updated text, it's just a speculation in my opinion.

I have a flight tomorrow and I will swipe my pp only 😁.

To be fair to lounge staff, they say "I am not sure if your PP will be charged later, but you can enter" always. 🙂

I will swipe Infinia PP tomorrow. Let us see.

I believe that, HDFC will announce beforehand about any such change. Hope I am not wrong.

Just curious to know why use PP , when you have infinia CC , which gives unlimited domestic access for primary and add on, No ?
Sometimes, people have guests.
Sometimes, PP has smaller lines which gets user faster access.
Sometimes, people aren't carrying their cards.

It was an option which seems like it has been taken away now.

No bank except HDFC allowed PP usage in India without additional charges. To be specific, PP access to any lounge in India is charged at 27USD and hence it's quite expensive when same lounges allow entry at less than 2k.

I have never encountered HDFC infinia being refused at any lounge. All lounges which accept PP accept cards. In fact there are some lounges which accept only cards and don't accept PP.

Unless the number of lounges is reduced this is not a devaluation. Ppl these days seriously seem to make mountain of a molehill unnecessarily.
Just because you haven't encountered it doesn't mean it's not true. Please compare the domestic lounge access list of dcb and infinia and you will see the difference in number of lounges. Alot of cities are missing from infinia. I myself have encountered this in prayagraj and vizag airport where infinia isn't accepted but PP is.
And if PP becomes chargeable in domestic airport, infinia lounge list becomes smaller so it is a devaluation.

Edit - the following number of lounges are present on the mentioned cards.
Infinia - 39
DCB - 53
Marquee - 54
ICICI - 68

No, it’s not.
from 7th March 2025, the Priority pass issued with INFINIA card will most likely be charged if used within India, just like the Priority passes issued with every other card in India.
Please don't take a chance

Also I think if they will remove domestic access on PP, we should be able to see it on the PP site as well. I don't see domestic lounges after logging in with Marquee membership id. Same was the case with DCB iirc. So if domestic lounges are visible after logging in with Infinia PP membership id, ig we can assume it's complimentary.
