They have replied to me yesterday claiming this was updated in Sep 2023, which basically means Regalia = Infinia for lounge access:
This is with reference to your e-mail dated March 10, 2025 with Subject line: Clarification regarding access of Domestic lounge using Infinia Priority Pass.
We would like to clarify that the lounge change was updated in September 2023 and communication has been sent to registered email id.
However we would like to clarify that our lounge terms and conditions have been updated in our Bank product website link.

I replied to this, I had to since HDFC has on email communicated to me that domestic is not available using PP, I can’t go an using the same as they will never reimburse me saying they had already clarified. So the logical step for me is to ask more clarity.

I tend to disagree, the initial seed was posted on twitter and then ppl made thread here. It’s natural for few folks to clarify with the bank if that’s really the case, posting here is generally to update the community as a whole. And how wud we know that the bank is replying differently to us if we do not share here. In my assumption and I maybe wrong, posting anything on twitter has a far greater audience than here.

bro that lounge list is a joke. PNB Patanjali card has better coverage than Infinia.
Totally agree, have always used Infinia and addons and never looked at what my other cards offers. Now have to explore, need to see what bizblack is offering in comparison, never checked.
Bro, we already got verification from the latest t&c mail that the pp can be used domestically as was always the case, they never said it cannot be used, they never communicated anything like that aap khud hi mail pe mail bhej bhej ke peechey padey ho, unka support bekar hai har baar alag cheez bolega ye toh humein saalo se anyways pata hai
Ab answer mil bhi chuka ki kuch nahi change hua priority pass mein for infinia fir bhi aapne ek aur mail bhej diya, unko kar lo pareshan pura upar tak escalate kar lo jissey vo pp cannot be used bol ke terms bhi update kar hi de, fir khush ho jana

Bhai, what you are saying does not hold good at least for me. They clearly said in my email reply that it cannot be used and will be charged, now they claim this policy has been updated since Sep 2023. Ab jab yeh log ne mujko officially bola hai, maybe you can still use the PP but I cannot, they might reimburse you in the future but will not to me. Also I'm least bothered if they stop PP for domestic, it's their product and they can do whatever they want to with it, the better product will prevail. I'm more concerned that they have not communicated this, their TnC is vague.

That’s fine but if on PP domestic is showing up as allowed on PP portal then let it be. Let’s not prod them further which may complicate the matter. I feel domestic lounges are still allowed on PP, just that they are trying to discourage using PP for the purpose.
Earlier addon cards used to bear the same card no. as primary and therefore once primary is swiped at a lounge, addon couldn’t be used. That’s when hdfc encouraged card holders to use PP even domestically and discouraged addon card holders to use their card at domestic lounges.
What’s important to clarify -
The list of domestic lounges on Infinia page was last updated in Dec ‘22 and that’s the updated list. The total no. Of domestic lounges is about 76 on Visa portal. We should ask them to update the latest list.
I’d suggest people who have received emails from the bank stating that they must use their cards at domestic lounges should question them back on the updated lounge list

This seems to cover below two lounges that I had used PP in the past as this was not covered with Infinia. Are they now covered then ?
1. SL 45: Travel Club Annex @ CCU
2. SL 73: Take off Bar and Lounge @ VNS
If all our lounges are covered direct with Infinia, then no one shud really bother about PP ?
EDIT: Also got this link from here, it's a Visa Infinite Lounge access list, and it says applicable from 2021 - 2026, till about 2023 I'm sure these lounges were not covered.
EDIT: Oh, but the Travel Club Annex was the Irish Club before, so the list is Indeed updated one. Just do not know if we can now access direct with our Infinia card.
EDIT: This also means that the Infinite card lounge has more lounges than say Regalia, HDFC just sends the same lounge list saying applicable for Regalia + infinia.

I know for certain the last two times (Sep/Dec 2024) I visited Adani (East Wing) at Mumbai CSMIA international departures, they only accepted Amex Platinum and Indian PSU Banks (on Visa and RuPay franchises) but not HDFC, so I’d take this list with a fistful of salt.
Exactly. I was trying to use a lounge at Delhi T3, Encalm was in the list, but they were not accepting any CCs. Said only PP are accepted

You should have clearly told here that it was the Encalm Arrival Lounge at T3 IGI, which is obviously not a regular lounge and can not be accessed using any Credit Cards. Only Priority-Pass and Lounge-Key provide access.
All other lounges definitely provide access through Infinia itself.

Yep, that's a great lounge, most business class tickets come with access to that lounge
Or you can use pp that's the only option
One like that exists for t3 international departure as well I think?
