Infinia HDFC Infinia Upgrade Request Accepted or Rejected?

I have spent 7 lakhs on my diners black card in last two months. I have requested for infinia upgrade citing international acceptance reason. I got response like this.


I replied with all details but the request got closed after I shared all the details.
Does that mean it's in process or it was rejected ?

Any advice from people who were on same path ? Do I need to wait or request with new email or escalate to pno ?

Whats your current limit?


Its not yet rejected. The team will reply with outcome. The request waj just to get required docs. Post that its goes for processing which you will get to know after 3-7 working days.
In case of upgrade you will get to see card in hdfc apps or will get message to set the Pin.
In case of rejection the team will mail you with reason.

Draft a new email with the subject Contd: Ticket <ticket reference id>

Quote the email you have received from them in the new email and respond accordingly to the questions posed and send it. It will be processed.

Send the required documents then credit card division will review your case. If approved, you will get card in 1-2 weeks and if got rejected then communication may come.

This is conditional approval I believe. I had received the same and the upgrade was done in another day.

Thanks for the replies. I spoke to customer service but they were clueless and they said it might have rejected but he is not sure when asked details.

Seeing your response, I would wait. I am confused between this and amex plat charge where they are offering 150,000 points as jan offer whether to take it or not. I have an international trip coming up so thinking if I need infinia or plat charge. Anyways infinia will be longer term plan and plat charge is only for 1st year and not so useful to me.

Infinia is always good as you get 12k joining fee back in terms of reward. You just pay gst.

For Amex Platinum. Go for it if you are aware of it's timely rolling out benefits. If you can utilize hotel mebership, lounge benefits of the card and gonna use its rewards towards marriot.
Or else if you wanna keep it as status card.

Wait till tomorrow or may be for 2 working days. A new service request would be generated, you will get sms. And Infinia would be issued in next week.

No need to do anything.

This is the same template email which they send to everyone which is often confusing. Just send the details asked in the email and you will get the card.

It's approved. Just reply to the email point by point.

Finally, got cibil mail today and could see infinia card in mobile banking within an hour. Thanks everyone...

Happy with infinia but I miss the monthly milestone rewards in my LTF diners black. Afaik infinia doesn't have milestone rewards right ?
