That will never happen also. Since marriott got tieup with hdfc bank in india, they introduced only 1 card. They could had got 2 or 3 cards, with more benefits on each card with increasing price range, but they didnt.

And i dont think marriott will tieup with another bank for a new cc. Bank tieups are too much hassle.

Simply put, marriott wanted a presence in Indian market, hdfc bank quoted the highest price for an indian francise license.

I’m expecting HDFC to also gain Marriott points transfer partnership for their super premium cards as a result of this collaboration, maybe around the time of Infinia Reserve launch.
