HDFC Platinum Card displayed as Millenia

Hi, I recently upgraded my millenia card to platinum. In the cards section, the card is changed but the points criteria is for millenia, i.e. I am getting points as per a millenia card.
Mainly use this card for credit card bill payments and the occasional recharge. Is it worth getting it corrected to platinum or would I be better off letting it stay that way?

Your points earned in Millenia card will continue showing as Millenia Debit Card

Once you've started earning points on platinum DC, it'll show as LOYALTY PROGRAM GOLD CARDS

If you earn using smartbuy, it'll show as promotional cashback

Kindly mark as solution if you get separate points later

No it won't. It might be points earned on millenia before 3 months.

Even if it does, wait for a couple of days and it'll change.

You didn't read this post thoroughly. He is saying that his transactions are being credited according to the Millennia debit card, instead of Platinum. Although, I feel like it might be his old points.

Got the card last month. Since then I have paid credit card bills and some shopping for which I got 400 points which were credited to millennia points, not a separate category.

Without account upgrade with 25k balance variant that 1% upto 750/- wont work since HDFC Bank tagged like that

So I would need to change the variant to savings max? Guess it would not change a thing for me since my account is in imperia banking

That's so sad. Did you happen to use your millenia card in April, for which you were eligible for 400 points in anyway?

Unfortunately, you have to calculate it yourself. The main issue is that HDFC will not assist you in this case because we are paying credit card bills using their debit card, which is forbidden according to their terms. We should not be receiving cashback points while paying credit card bills, but we are.

In my opinion, unless your cashback exceeds ₹400 per month, you should definitely ask HDFC to fix this bug so you can get it up to ₹750. Otherwise, keep taking advantage of it 🤣

If those 190 points are from your millennia DC then you didn't got any points from your platinum DC. Could you please tell us which CC bills you paid and what was the merchant name on them? You can find the merchant name in your transactions.

There is a good chance you paid CC bills of those particular banks in which, we were not getting cashback due to MCC change.

Yes change it from any branch then it should work
Since you are already an imperia customer minimum balance criteria not be there for you i guess

Finally, the card section was automatically converted around 45 days later without doing anything from my end.

In my wife’s account without changing account variant she didn’t get cb
Earlier had millenia dc then changed card to easy shop which didn’t worked
Then RM made 25k balance
