Called dreamfolks they are saying they removed debit card digital access on request of the banks and I can directly access lounge by swiping debit card if I am eligible.

Yeah I see the same thing and if I try to add the debit card again it's saying it's already added. And hdfc doesn't have clue about it. I mailed them about the access and they replied as below.

Used 3 platinum debit cards. 2 had credit card bill payments outside hdfc app valued 10k each( cred payment using debit card). 1 had 2 rupees transaction only in the last quater but it had lounge access.
P.S. used icici coral lounge access twice using addon card even though t&c stated shared access. Generated access for ICICI coral from dreamfolks site.

Yes. Direct swipe is the only option for DC. Debit cards are removed from dreamfolks digital access.
