Hello,

I see For a Salaried Customer, Monthly net salary credit of Rs. 1.5 lakhs & above in HDFC Bank Corp Salary Account as eligibility criteria for HDFC preferred banking.

So, if the salary credit in the HDFC basic account with net salary credit of Rs. 1.5 lakhs & above, then don't we need to maintain A minimum Average Monthly Balance of Rs. 2 Lakhs?

Can someone help me understand this? And how to apply this?

If it's already documented then it must be correct only.
The only thing I found is the relationship between your company and the bank. If they have tie up and your salary is equal or above the condition then there should not be any issue.

Nothing great being preferred. Mostly just marketing. What do you hope to gain?
Primarily for Regalia CC, I already hold DCB LFT but don't want to upgrade this card to Infina in the future. My only option here is to take another CC and increase the limit in the future. I hope if I upgrade to Preferred, I would get a LFT Regalia. If I'm eligible with my salary without maintaining the Average Monthly Balance of Rs. 2 Lakhs, then I have nothing to lose, right?

In my experience, being a preferred customers didn’t helped me to get an upgrade offer on my Millenia card. I have applied through my RM. But no use.

If you already hold DCB, it will be difficult to get another core card.
