Going by my own experience, being an Imperia customer has no bearing on being offered a good CC.
.

Imperia has 0 benefits on groud apart from the little premium color on netbanking.

Leave Imperia status , not even NRV works for them. They don't care at all, after all it's not gonna effect them in anyway.

Definately HDFC employees are more sarkari than sbi employees

I don't know much about hsbc
That foreign account thing is it's only catch + I heard they good with home loan

Indusind has a very bad customer service. They don’t have any good credit cards either. Even if Axis doesn’t give Atlas LTF, they still can offer good credit cards in future.

I opened HDFC salary account last week and it got upgraded to Preferred yesterday. Overall experience was better than expected. Smooth process and no glitches or hassles.
Got the Easyshop platinum ATM card and normal cheque book few days back. Yet to receive the Preferred-branded ATM card and cheque book.

Update: I did escalated matter to nodal officer and they also denied giving promises at the time of account opening.

Meanwhile I was auto upgraded to imperia status. Axis guy seems to be ignorant, he is not doing anything like not offering anything other than written stuff.
Even not ready to make my Airtel Axis and Flipkart Axis LTF. Said can offer Axis Select as LTF with Burgundy salary account...

I didn't like HDFC UI, App. Whenever you open their app or email always running personal loan offer, app will have PL related banner keep coming on every navigation.

I am not sure now which bank to consider for salary account, very sad.

Can I go to RBI ombudsman complaining about HDFC, as they designed some product which is not inclusive and not aligning with labour law of this country.
