Is it possible add my brother in law to HDFC Preferred Banking Programme ? (Assuming I hold a preferred Banking relationship with HDFC)
I see options to add my parents/wife/children/siblings/grandparents. What about In laws and so.?
 
I have preferred banking with HDFC with MAB requirement of 2L. My father is also maintaining preferred banking account.

What happens on MAB requirement if I add him as family member? Combined 2L MAB will be required for maintaining both preferred accounts? or individually 2L is required?

1. Correct answer is No.
2. He can call customer care or any branch employee can check status.
3. Basically you do need to maintain the required balance. You may get downgraded if you don't. Depends on bank how strictly they are applying it.

I guess if 1 is no. Then no use of knowing others lol

the RM is like a joke.
They always cry for policy FD.
if i call them for Add family members they say your account don't have balance so we can't add anymore.

Well most RMs are fancy salesman in disguise.

If your RM is not adding a family member you can raise a request by messaging in NetBanking instead.
 
Just mail to preferred banking or grievance redressal that you asked RM multiple times and he still didn't do it. You can also mention he asked for FD to do this.
I did this and BM called me and handled the whole process himself. I kept asking him for this since last 6 months and he kept giving some excuse or other.
Once you raise a complaint against them, they can't close it without your approval (or I think so). Also it reduces their points or something.
