Important update on Lounge Access via HDFC Credit Cards from December 1st, 2023.
HDFC Regalia First

1. Effective December 1st, 2023, Complimentary lounge access at lounges within and outside India can no longer be availed on Regalia First Card.

HDFC Millennia

1. To Access Domestic Lounges you need to spend Rs 1 lac in a quarter.
2. The number of domestic lounge visits on HDFC Millennia reduced to 1 from 2 per quarter

HDFC Regalia

1. To Access Domestic Lounges you need to spend Rs 1 lac in a quarter.
2. No condition is applicable for International Lounge access using PP issued with HDFC Regalia

HDFC Regalia Gold

1. No changes were made.

Looks like another attempt by HDFC Bank to pocket annual fees by making people upgrade to Regalia Gold who are holding LTF HDFC Regalia and HDFC Millennia.

Declutter means good for customers not for the business. Eventually they will sell the vouchers for lounge to the banks for less cost.
Banks will be the ultimate gainers in this game.

Will HDFC now remove lounge on LTF DCB and move people to dcb paid metal. Just a matter of time

As per a call with HDFC Branch today, I was told of these C2C LTF Offers..
Now, Which way to go?

• HDFC C2C 5L via Branch: LTF offered Regalia Gold, Diner Club Privilege, Millenia. Pros/ Cons? Others?
  1. A lot of Older threads favor Millenia, so wondering which way I should go - with things changing?
  2. Would it be easier to conveniently do an internal switch from LTF RG to LTF Millennia or LTF Millennia to LTF RG?

All these small banks are sheeps.
They will also increase the minimum spend for lounge access soon or the big banks will lower the spend criteria if people move out.

Mostly I think they want to shift mid tier card holders to high tier.

Millennia 1L spend also gave 1000 rupees voucher. So what is to be seen is whether you can choose between 1K voucher or lounge access or have both.

I'm actually thinking to get LTF DCP in place of Millennia. Won't be spending 1L ever on this, have other cards. DCP has golf/bogo offers without any spend criteria

Why not RG in place of DCP ? Costs the same. Although sans golf / BOGO.

Mailed them for the same. They said plastic is discontinued hence can't. My existing limit is anyway below 5L so just attempted as it was stopping. Have 1 DCB already in family so not pushing too much.
Can't decide though if DCP is worth now that golf is also gone (I had looked at one of the review websites where they said it has)

WTH is this? konsi sasta nasha karke baitha hai product team?
1 lakh just for lounge access doesn't make any sense. waise bhi the list of domestic lounges with regalia was very limited.
at least priority pass is spared (for now), though expecting that to be curtailed soon.
