Important update on Lounge Access via HDFC Credit Cards from December 1st, 2023.
HDFC Regalia First

1. Effective December 1st, 2023, Complimentary lounge access at lounges within and outside India can no longer be availed on Regalia First Card.

HDFC Millennia

1. To Access Domestic Lounges you need to spend Rs 1 lac in a quarter.
2. The number of domestic lounge visits on HDFC Millennia reduced to 1 from 2 per quarter

HDFC Regalia

1. To Access Domestic Lounges you need to spend Rs 1 lac in a quarter.
2. No condition is applicable for International Lounge access using PP issued with HDFC Regalia

HDFC Regalia Gold

1. No changes were made.

Looks like another attempt by HDFC Bank to pocket annual fees by making people upgrade to Regalia Gold who are holding LTF HDFC Regalia and HDFC Millennia.

Submitted Card Closure request. Regalia anyways didn't had much value except for the lounge benefit.
Time to move spends on other cards. Stupid criteria for a lounge

If someone is having LTF Regalia and does international travel 1 or 2 times, just keep it for PP international lounge access. If you have HDFC debit card, use it for 5k for limited domestic travelling.

If you travel a bit more, check to upgrade to Gold or DCB FYF and enjoy till it lasts there.

Notice the language, they're showing this as a new feature. 😂

Apparently, Regalia Rupay doesn't have PP. Tried twice Regalia RuPay didn't work in domestic lounge. Its acceptability internationally is uncertain for me

No I think it may have reverse impact to Dreamfolk stock, for them revenue will decrease. Free lounge access is provided by Bank, Dreamfolk still get money for the same. With the reduction in lounge usage the revenue will decrease automatically for Dreamfolk.

Considering majority of the air travel is price sensitive, paid lounge access will be hard to go up.
This may lead DreamFolks and Lounges to offer lower rates to banks to get their numbers up.
