HDFC says Rupay franchise is unavailable

my regalia ltf card is to be renewed this year.
when i asked the bank if i could ask the card on the rupay platform or not, they said" Rupay franchise is currently unavailable in Regalia credit card"
is this true?

another question:- will my card still be ltf if they renew it om the rupay platform?

Yes. Calling customer care may get your luck by chance.
If they also reject, try 2-3 times different officers will reply every time, one of them will happily take your request.

AFAIK, that twitter guy is only Varun for HDFC Bank, replying everywhere, and not solving problems.

Call customer, care, and if declined, then mail Grievance Redressal.

Just clearly tell hime to change franchisee from Visa to Rupa and not upgrade of CC to some higher. Only franchisee conversion. They have the option to change.

Regalia to millennia is technically a downgrade. Can I tell them to downgrade to millennia and will it be still be ltf?

Nope that won't be LTF. Also Millenia isn't available in Rupay network.

LTF Millenia is hard to get as compared to LTF Regalia. You can ask them and try your luck though.

This week one person successfully converted to RuPay Regalia.

Talk to any other executive on call. you just need to call and talk to different different support executives. Some HDFC bank customer support executives will accept your request without any question.

No it's pretty much useless for me
But currently I only other rupay credit card I have is freedom ltf
Anyways I'll try to downgrade to millennia ltf which probably won't happen and that's why imma stick to regalia most probably

Regalia and regalia gold have the same annual fees, the gold version just has some more features.
Can I get the regalia gold ltf?
