HDFC says Rupay franchise is unavailable

my regalia ltf card is to be renewed this year.
when i asked the bank if i could ask the card on the rupay platform or not, they said" Rupay franchise is currently unavailable in Regalia credit card"
is this true?

another question:- will my card still be ltf if they renew it om the rupay platform?

Freedom is literally the worst paid card to ever exist
1 cashpoint per 150 rs, 1 cashpoint = 0.15 rs!
The MAX reward rate (10X) is just 1%!!
Why would I want this card to be my main rupay cc or the only one?

Na na both are ltf just meant it Is by default a paid card

It means your RuPay conversion is approved, now you need to fill the form and submit.

Well actually,
I had sent 2 requests in recent days
One request was for visa to rupay
And other was for a lifetime free millennia credit card
and that form reply is for the millennia request I had put
And ofc it won't be ltf millennia
I didn't get a reply for the rupay conversation request yet

How will I know if I the card became paid, in case I accidentally turned off smartpay?

I had turned off the billpay few months ago
Because I had forgotten about this condition

First convert your regalia to rupay.
And then email if your rupay regalia is still LTF or not?

and freedom i got through an email promotion/ad from hdfc last month

ill ask on the twitter whether my regalia is ltf or not
and smartpay doesnt give much cashaback
ik it gives 5% for first 12 months, but ig i had already registered for smartpay i wont be getting the cashbacks again
anyways i have airtel axis bank card to take care of the bill payments which gives me 25% on dth and prepaid mobile, and 10% on electricity, water, broadband and gas booking
