HDFC will start reporting Total Credit Limit from May, 2023

HDFC will start reporting the Total Credit Limit instead of Utilized Limit from May 2023.

P.s. - Previously, HDFC was not reporting total credit limit to Credit Bureau. Due to this, usage calculation was high which wasn't true & lt led down the user's credit score.

This is really a relief to customers 😍😊.

is there any hard enquiry? new loan account? compare utilisation ratio.
No hard enquiries. Didn't apply any card since April. I closed my edu loan at the end of April.
Applied Magnus at the same time.
It reduced 3 points in Mid May and another 8 points now.

Utilisation ration increased by 3% 🙄

My April kotak bill is still showing as balance. I paid it on 3rd May and the last refresh is on 1st April. So that 40k plus Magnus 1.2L . Took utilisation from 4% to 7%

education loan was foreclosure?

maybe 3 points reduced because of loan closure.
and 8 points because of new credit card

you will get back those 8 points in few months.

May 2023 is already over. Does anyone with HDFC card see the original limit being disclosed in their credit report? As HDFC reports credit limit at the end of the month so someone can confirm if that's being happening.
Yes I checked just now in CIBIL app. My HDFC credit card showing total credit limit. Reported on 31st May.
