Anyone heard about Skiplagging?

Skiplagging
is when we book a flight with a layover at their preferred destination and 'skip' the final part, kinda like in IRCTC, we book a train ticket starting somewhere and boarding station somewhere else.
Eg: you have to fly from Mumbai to Delhi, and the ticket price is ₹7k.
But a flight from Mumbai to Chandigarh with a quick layover in IGI costs only ₹4.5k.
So, you buy the cheaper ticket and get off at IGI and cancel the further travel from IGI to Chandigarh. You skip the last part , hence called 'skiplagging'.
