Help needed

my email has been hacked, and an unknown person logged into my Flipkart account. The hacker tried to buy the Apple and Google Play vouchers on December 15 early in the morning using my saved cards. Axis is one of those in that Flipkart account. The hacker was successful in placing the orders for ₹6000*3=18000, which is using my email as an OTP source. The axis alerted in email, but he acknowledged the transaction was done myself from email. The hacker tried to place multiple orders but got a call from the axis alert. I attended it and acknowledged this transaction was not done by me, and the same I tried to convey to the customer agent on the same day after 8 a.m. and raised the complaint.

For next 6 hours flipkart orders were on hold , tried reaching out to flipkart customer care but those people were idiots saying once the order is approved we will cancel the orders. After 6hrs vouchers sent to hacker.

Now Neither AXIS nor flipkart helping , axis saying transactions done with OTP authentication ,so case is closed.

Flipkart says now transaction completed we can't do anything.

May this incident will alert some of the people in this group not to loose their money.

Please help me to proceed further.

Thanks

A small piece of advice to prevent frauds at a larger scale: Always keep all your transactions OFF on all your cards from respective banking apps. Whenever required switch ON that particular category transaction at the time of transaction and afterwards switch it OFF again. This will prevent from such fraud incidents even if someone's Phone/Email/SMS/Flipkart account/Amazon account gets hacked.

Now I learnt the lesson ☹️.

There's another thread with exactly same incident. Please search that thread. Have shared security tips in that thread.

Flipkart and banks really need to work out something here. I have heard this happening a few times where even after being alerted of the fraudulent transaction, flipkart still sends the coupon codes to thieves.

This is a fraud vector which might be already in use too. People buy codes using their own cards but filing the transaction as fraudulent to not pay the bank. This is apart from your own situation where thieves stole from you.

Sad to know such things.

Approach Nearby cyber crime police station or take help from them to trace out the things..

Another way of protection is :
Email address used for banking should not be used for any other purposes..
My main email address is different to all other apps email addresses
I have 3 different email addresses apart from the main email address
True... Never give any app access to read your mails that is used for banking purpose.
Have shared this earlier, please check it out:-

Yeah I also follow the same approach.... I do have 2 main email IDs... one is for banking related stuffs and other one for amazon/flipkart or any other stuffs where I am sure for authenticity of app/website..... Rest are bogus IDs and I only use them if I want to register on some unknown apps/websites etc which I am unsure of whether that app/website is secure or not.
