TODAY'S LATEST NEWS

RBI going to limit the number of bank accounts per person ? Yes, probably.

Even penalize those who have more bank accounts ?

We might soon get directives on this....

Every bank account is linked to same PAN ,
Everything is monitered by inciome tax and banking PRE-Trained-simulation Softwares.
So RBI should be answerable the reason why they are doing so.
No of bank account is persons choices and their financial goals. Andd their nature of work.

And URL you pasted. It is fake circulation. Till now RBI havent announced any such directives.

EVen they announced, It cant be stay before COURT of Law. Which is clearly unconstitutional. Basic it is clearly violating basic rights.

I guess he probably meant to say "opened account after watching youtube vids of some finfluencers"

looking for features told by those influences in these particular bank accounts.

If those are still valid, can probably mentioned as "using for that feature.." but instead if someone mention still as "influenced" means either those features are no longer available or not needed for that particular person or betrayed.

this thread is very long can anybody do a favour by summarising it in a nutshell the bank and its uses please
This is just for showcasing your collection. What XYZ person has done should not make you feel FOMO.

Generally, having 2-3 accounts and using them for specific purposes serves you well.

In a nutshell, it's just for segregation, that's it.

When people mentions "not sure why I'm holding this / didn't remember", is it really that short story to forget opening a bank account or fancy to say that? also, whats stopping to close that?

.. Just curious things..

This is a showcase thread and not an informative thread to put tldr summary. 2-3 bank accounts are enough for most people as there are 3 basic functions, income, savings/investments, expenses. You can merge 2 of these functions into one account if you want.

Choosing depends upon what you want out of it. A working banking app and net banking, pre-approved offers, unlimited ATM transactions, zero balance, debit card benefits, credit card eligibility, customer service, cash pickup and delivery, high interest fd/rd, low interest loans, lockers etc.
