How to cancel no cost emi on a merchant transaction but get the interest as discount. For example, etailers give interest as discount upfront. How to retain that while cancelling the emi.

That is what I and @1pratham are rooting for..

I am particularly scared of banks coming back after a year or so, charging the cashback back into our accounts by saying offer was only for emi. We would have to fight back with nothing but a general reply that it was not told to us while cancelling emi on phone (proofs which we do not have).
Merchant hai toh kuch nahi hoga 😂

Guys i have never made any sort of EMI so little confused here. As i know EMI's are reflected in cibil so if we do this trick to get discount and cancel the emi the next day. What will happen then? Is it going to show in cibil or not?

@4uziaul , and anyone

At what step this interest of 10, 432 will be offered as instant discount in my DC No cost EMI for my HDFC DC?

The amount payable still shows as 69,999 in this screen...

Do the Txn.
It will be a NCEMI if NCEMI discount is shown.

Amazon show the Calculations more Accurately.

Flipkart showing Net Cost to you, not the Final Amount which would Actually converts into EMI.

Yes.
Last Year I purchased Samsung F23 Using HDFC DEBIT EMI.

As I told Flipkart shows Net Product Price to Customer.

Actual EMI is booked for
(Product Price-NCEMI Discount) only
Thanks for the confirmation ..
With how many days , we need to cancel the EMI to avoid foreclosure penalty and to reverse all the EMI charges in this case of HDFC DC EMI.. Have you cancelled your EMI last year or have continued it?
Is it within 3 to 4 days or the next day of EMI conversion or within 15 days?

At that time I do not about this or you can say, I never thought this way, that cancel the EMI and avail NCEMI DISCOUNT without actually availing EMI Facility.

Otherwise I will definetly try it.

So No idea about it

EMI conversion takes time.
When EMI starts reflecting in Mobile App, then call customer care to cancel it.

Actually I too never thought about it and even now I am not fully convinced about it whether to do or Not.
But on the otherside, most of the times they exploit us anyway., so why not take 10K..
Initially I was planning to take big EMI purchase on DC so that I get a better CC offer..
It's all getting confusing now
