How to cancel no cost emi on a merchant transaction but get the interest as discount. For example, etailers give interest as discount upfront. How to retain that while cancelling the emi.

Lol i am also getting a deal of 72500 for Iphone 15 plus on Amazon but i am confused about the DCEMI option! Have gone through TF community threads on pre closure of DCEMI and people say that no foreclosure charges are added and only Interest on pro rata basis plus GST is added.

I am just worried that will the upfront discount on DCEMI provided not be reversed right?

I guess we both have to do this and update here..
Many had done NCEMI on CC not on DC

Right!! Though i did find this thread

Thread 'HDFC Debit Card EMI Related Query?'
https://www.technofino.in/community/threads/hdfc-debit-card-emi-related-query.14897/

But it’s not entirely clear because solution has foreclosure charges mentioned while a lot of others have mentioned only Interest on pro rata basis and GST but let’s see honestly I’d be fine with the foreclosure charges too coz even with that i will be getting Iphone 15 plus at less than 63k with exchange!!

Actually I too never thought about it and even now I am not fully convinced about it whether to do or Not.
But on the otherside, most of the times they exploit us anyway., so why not take 10K..
Initially I was planning to take big EMI purchase on DC so that I get a better CC offer..
It's all getting confusing now
How making a purchase on DC gets a better CC offer?

Usually, in the case of ICICI, you can call customer care and cancel the emi.
