How to change Emerald variant from Visa to Master and Amex?

I tried sending an email and they say due to security they can’t change over email and asked to call the customer care.

Tried calling customer and they denied sating it depends on application to application and 90% they offer visa variant.

Yeah only 9 lounges

Generally icici doesn't cater request to change variant in Emeralde
Still you can request them on twitter and check

I hold VI variant from December 2022 and got Amex variant change in June 2023 via Twitter route. They do accept variant change in Emeralde.

But Dual card concept doesn’t work with Emeralde

With the Amex variant will I get access to the American Express lounges that only Amex Plat or Plat Reserve is given access to?

No. It’s exclusive to Amex Platinum, Centurion card.

Right now both cards are active with two annual charges. Amex variant gives birthday voucher and sometimes bonus rewards on spends. And with Emeralde Private metal launching hoping that either of my card will be eligible.

Will discontinue one card after the renewal time comes.

Just got a email back from support. They have stopped issuing regular Emeralde cards now as they are launching metal card soon

Emeralde is Visa Infinite right? That has better benefits I guess.
