How to earn upto 30K ER on your Axis card with just one phone call

@ChandanP and @RewardsAlert you guys are too good!!

This worked like a charm! I made a call on 11th June, got the SR generated and voila on 12th June by evening there was rain in my Axis reward section of 10000ER 💰

Just for everybody's information: I even tried negotiating with the person on call for getting me more than 10000 ER or any other benefit as retention as in cash value it's just Rs. 2000, he checked with his managers twice but couldn't fetch anything extra for me here.

Thanks a lot for sharing this one! 🙂
Wonderful unlock Rajat!

Consider this something as your own entitlement which you deserve being a HNI cardholder.

There's a lot more to come your way, so make sure to learn and have fun along the way.

Rewards will follow 😇

Thanks for being too generous. Definitely looking forward for more.

I still not able to find courage to call 🙁 mainly because card anniversary has been just passed and renewal fees was waived as 15L crossed, may be i will have to wait for couple of months more before calling

I got 10k er for my FYF card. You will also get. It has nothing to do with fee paid. Just ask for any retention bonus during call after they explain the benefits of card

Finally one morning tried this on my better half's 5 month old Axis Reserve.. the first step went as expected when they offered 30k ER points. The SR was made and i thought its a done deal..

BUT then that afternoon a call came where they said that for Reserve the retention bonus can only be paid after ANNUAL fees is paid.. which i said i have paid when i got the card..
she was like no, that was joining fees! After 7 months when you pay annual fees you can get 30K extra points along with normal 50k points when you call us that time.
In short escalated the call even above that but they all were stuck on same thing that first year not applicable for Reserve! They even said that for Magnus 10k is possible for first year but not for Reserve.
30 minutes of staying on call but same result..
tried everything i could think of, not finding the card worth-while, Denied meet and greet at airport and even threatened to close the card to which they were ready to close it also but did not budge on this..

So will wait for seven months and will try at that time! All in all much easier and less awkward the second time asking for this though the payoff is way bigger! .. was a fun experience and not that we have anything to lose!🙂

Guys - Axis seems to be on a roll. So consider giving this trick a pause. Worse, don't end up getting the cards closed instead of ER (who knows they may take the request seriously 😳). At least before calling ensure there is outstanding to be paid.

I tried with a 2 month old Reserve, bhaga diya mujhe despite me telling them I initiated a thread on TF regarding retention bonuses. 🤣
Just kidding, they said nothing before a year for Reserve.
Yes, same for me! Good to know! First i thought they are only denying me 😅

The value of retention bonus is correct though. 30k ER.
Yes, in a true sense they want to retain us for one more year by paying 59k and getting 80k points in return! They have become smart to give a incentive for 2nd year rather than leaving it after 1st..

True that, but why are they having exception for 2-3 month old Magnus lol
Axis knows 30K is a big dent for them 🤣

What I understood is Axis reserve must be older than a year to get retention ER. What if I spend 25 lakhs and not pay annual fee, will they still provide retention ER?

Probably you can be one of the first persons to find out and enlighten the rest of us!🙂
