I tried with a 2 month old Reserve, bhaga diya mujhe despite me telling them I initiated a thread on TF regarding retention bonuses. 🤣
Just kidding, they said nothing before a year for Reserve.

I tried this again yesterday. Luckily, this time the agent himself offered the retention bonus and then raised a SR for the same. Happy to share that 30k ER points have been credited today. 😀

Jinke pass Reserve hai try karlo yeh as soon as possible so that you get these extra 30k points. Then move these out before 31st Aug to avail the current transfer ratio of 5:4.

Loot Axis and transfer before the devaluation date. Axis is also willing to give ER"s because they are going to save monthly milestone ER's from September anyways.

I had tried with my LTF card and they refused. This was a month back. So closed the card to make space for a 3rd card. Back then axis wasnt doing 4th card.

Retention is for not closing the card account. Card can be paid or LTF.
I got retention for my LTF myzone last year.

This thread is to highlight the different retention bonuses Axis offers on its credit cards. Many people must be already aware of this. However, there may be many who aren't and this would help them to earn some free reward points.

How to get these points?
Call Axis customer support helpline(1800 419 0065) and put in a request to close the card. Generally, they'll offer the bonus points upfront so that you don't close the card. If not, you can ask about it yourself. CC agent will take your request and generate a SR. The bonus points should reflect in your account in few days.

Tip: Keep some outstanding balance in your card before you raise a closure request. This will ensure that your card doesn't get closed even by mistake.

Mostly Axis offers these retention bonus points once every year per customer. Therefore, choose the highest variant of your cards for retention first. But, there are cases where people have received for multiple cards in the same year. So, no harm in trying for other cards as well.

If anyone has information on other cards as well, please comment. I'll update this list accordingly.

Got 10k ER for Magnus(3 Months old).

Just called CC and asked what is the procedure for closing the card.
They asked why are you closing the card, I replied because of recent devaluations.
After checking the detais they told that since I have already paid the Joining fees, I can continue to use it till one year.

I told Ok, please check if any retention offer is there. They checked and told there is retention bonus and will create a SR for the same and it will be processed within 1 working day.
Got it in 1 working day(Atleast this Axis is crediting on time 🙂 )
