Infinia How to get Approval for Infinia Credit Card through this New Process?

Please share your experience here if anyone is planning to apply for HDFC Infinia credit card through this process starting from Feb 1, 2025.

There’s always the spends or salary route. You can also ask your brother to remove you from the family banking anytime.

Definitely no need to be so dramatic.

There is absolutely zero chance of you losing the ability to get Infinia in future because of being a secondary member of an imperia holder.
Indian banks dont even remember who you are if you change your phone number and open a different bank account. They are that technologically challenged.

Does this mean I will never ever have any chance for infinia now? as I am a secondary customer? I don't plan to get infinia today lol, and my CL is anyways low but I will never have a chance for infinia in future aswell coz of this BS? ugh

If you get added to imperia program under any family account means you are secondary.

You chose to do so it’s fine. You always have an option to opt out of family program and maintain account on your own in case you wish to.

By loads do you mean few lakhs or few tens of lakhs.
Unless its the latter one, you probably wouldn’t even get Imperia on your own.

idk, I never tried. I knew my brother has imperia so I can get imperia easily.

Absolutely, Being Imperia customer from over 8+ yrs never found a single benefit out of that.

With Axis Burgundy booked at-least 10+ free tickets in last 6 months.

'Primary' here refers to the customer who is looking to apply the card and if the customer has 1cr(in case of imperia) of total funds i.e. CA+SA+TD on the same cust ID then he/she is eligible for the card. This reply is from my RM so I guess it doesn't matter if you're primary or secondary member in the group ID as long as you have funds.

Thanks for posting the FAQ screenshot, Looks like the upper part of that screen also contains some information which got cut off. Any more screenshots will be highly appreciated.

What is the procedure for applying, The usual upgrade form will have to be sent by RM or Branch Manager ? My Branch and manager is half a KM away while RM is 10KM away, or Maybe contacting directly via email?
