Tbh I love both north and south and the mix of both aswell. Any south person meeting the north starts loving and adoring the north culture as usually in south families they are quite serious and reserved. Exactly the same is the case with north people with their obsession with dosa and they show off they eat dosa but the shop itself is of a south person but in north lol. North person who comes to south start loving quite culture which they usually don't get in the north, that peace and to the point talk.
Speaking of dividing the country, well that's something I have noticed only with very few people in the south, those people are in quite little minority and they do that because they want their politicians to win. It's fine, it's politics. If those politicians want to win, sure do north vs south but when the elections are over, atleast then they shouldn't do that and focus on economy. UP has already surpassed TN in terms of GDP. So politicians should focus on work. Now when the elections are about to come , then sure for the last 6-8 months, do north vs south again to win elections. This way, they get what they want, that is power, and at the same time our country grows and ultimately I think we all want that only, just that some prefer some specific politicians and that is all cool.
Coming to north vs south, I would those specific small minority in the south who does north vs south, keep doing that, No problems but just remember when those specific minority start supporting pakistan as many a times it has happened in cricket matches on social media, let me tell you anytime pakistanis want to shame north indians, they use south indian specific picture for racial discrimination to shame north indians and north indians even though they check on google for that specific picture and turns out that person is from a south state, they don't care, north people still keep bashing the pakistanis and defend our south brothers.
