How To Get HDFC Bank Infinia & DCB Credit Card Easily - New & Upgrade

HDFC Bank Infinia is the best credit card available in India for frequent air travellers. HDFC Bank market this credit card as an invite only card, but in reality you can actually apply for this card.
Official Eligible Income Criteria For HDFC Infinia- 43L ITR (depends on location)
DCB - 24L ITR
If you don't have ITR of 43L/24L you can still get HDFC Infinia/DCB, you have to fulfil some other criteria.
This information is not available publicly on HDFC Bank website.
Hidden Criteria For "New HDFC Bank Infinia Credit Card" - You can apply for new HDFC Bank Infinia credit card using "Card To Card" method, you need a minimum 1 year old other bank credit card with minimum 10 lakhs credit limit for this.
"New HDFC Bank Diners Club Black Credit Card" - You can apply for new HDFC Bank DCB credit card using "Card To Card" method, you need a minimum 1 year old other bank credit card with minimum 5 lakhs credit limit for this.

If your already have a HDFC Bank credit card, then you have to upgrade your existing card to Infinia/DCB,
For Upgrade To Infinia-
1. You need minimum 8 lakhs credit limit on your existing HDFC Bank Credit card
2. Send an email to- grievance.redressalcc@hdfcbank.com & request for card upgrade, fill up and attach credit card upgrade form with the email.

For Upgrade To DCB-
1. You need minimum 5 lakhs credit limit on your existing HDFC Bank Credit card
2. Send an email to- grievance.redressalcc@hdfcbank.com & request for card upgrade, attach card upgrade form with the email.

Update- HDFC Bank asking for 10 lakhs limit on your existing credit card for infinia upgrade.



So, don't be surprised if hdfc bank ask you for 10L limit. 😃

Also with my experience there is no official cooling period for closing and reapplying new card, as my application started processing when other card closure is in progress.

Not sure what they mean invite only, but after filling all basic details and used finserv account aggregator to scrape my salary account, they showed me infinia, dcb, tataneu and some other cards.

You applied through the online web portal of hdfc or offline with some agent ?

Bm tried a lot for fresh infinia but bbh denied
I complained to md desk and local sm called me and i told we can't issue infinia and dcb basis of your nrv. As its not sufficient. I wonder how much more needed.
He suggested c2c way for DCB (as i have axis 6L card) and assured me that surely i get approval.
Given documents, he personally handled the application.
Got in principle approval message. Next day declined, they mentioned not eligible for product
He mailed for reconsideration, back end team replied basis customer profile we can only approve 1.3L so can't approve DCB.

Hdfc has become scrap these days. 20L nrv and 6L axis card not sufficient for atleast DCB.

Suggest me if there is any better approach guys

I think recently they slashed it to 1.46 I guess not sure about 1.3 also this reduction was done for alumini program not sure it got applied for overall or not

That’s really weird , not sure how they are just giving out infinnia as a normal product when they clearly mention it as invite only card . If you have a screenshot , can you please send it to me . I will use it to get infinnia for myself .

What is that finserv account aggregator? Can you explain more on that? How it's benefit for savings account in HDFC?

For people who have a good NRV with the bank, the qualifying criteria would be less.
If someone has high NRV, but a low credit score or something and is seen as a risk, they'll go back to the original criteria so that they can reject them.

As per the executive in my city, a 11 lakh FD in HDFC will get you Infinia. Though as it’ll be secured card, you’ll have to surrender the card if you break the FD.

Sir they are now ready to provide me DCB LTF after mail conversation in place of intermiles signature LTF card which is going to be phased out, bt they are asking me to send upgrade form via e-mail, is it good to have DCB LTF or Regalia LTF is good pl suggest

Yes, I got add on card when I upgraded to DCB from Regalia.
