How to link ICICI Fastag with Amazon Pay?

Hi! I ordered Fastag via my dad's Amazon Prime Account. He received the Fastag today, with this as the welcome letter. Nowhere does it mention Amazon Pay. I don't see the option to link the Fastag with Amazon Pay anywhere on the website. Am I missing something?

What about 1% benefit upto 1500 which was promised ?

What change? The 1% in still ongoing but "it can be discontinued at anytime in future" as per the brochure that comes with the fastag.

Keep in mind that the new version cannot be recharged from anywhere like other fastags. Only way to recharge it is to add money to amazon pay balance.

Cant it be recharged through park+ ??

Park+ recharge fails. On icici it does not allow recharge saying account is frozen.

Can I purchase on someone else amazon pay account?

Amazon account: son's name
Car: on mom name

Or can I purchase 2 apay fastag from 1 Amazon account? Already purchased 1 no option showing for 2nd one

2 fastags from 1 Amazon account is not possible as of now. It is mentioned in T&Cs here. Check point 12

Purchasing from someone else's account should be possible. Try it out

Yes. One day amazon was able fetch the vehicle details

I have taken amazon icici fastag and can confirm that, we can not even recharge it using amazon pay balance in amazon pay app. Its useless.
there is only one difference between icici fastag and amazon pay icici fastag which is 1% cashback for prime users on toll spends.
That's it.

How did you get cashback for toll spends.
I took the tag and recharging it via apay balance (incl charges)
However never received any cashback until date since feb

I am planning to close federal Bank Fastag after applying the Amazon Fastag.
But always getting vehicle fetch error.
While non Fastag car is showing details.
I am confused whether existing Fastag cars is not eligible for Amazon Fastag

With the intention of applying for AmazonPay Fastag, I closed ICICI fastag.
It's been a month now with no success in acquiring one from Amazon.
Still old ICICI fastag is visible on Amazon and their customer care don't have enough knowledge in fixing this.
I'm fedup with hours of calls to customer care. ICICI and Amazon are blaming each other.

It seems Amazon has several bugs in issuing new FasTags. Shame on such a giant.

I tried with multiple accounts with different vehicle numbers, and everytime I receive the error "Vehicle fetch failed".

Better hold the existing FasTag for now, at least for few days.

As per new guidelines, for acquiring new FasTag, we don't need to close the existing one.
One vehicle - One FasTag rule - Once we apply for and activate new fastag, existing FasTag shall be disabled/ closed automatically.

Ohh... good to know. I was planning to close and reapply. But now will wait for few more months.

Amazon is running campaign of 100 rupee off currently. So they are trying to acquire customers. But systems are yet to be fixed it seems

Even after closing the existing AmazonPay FasTag, I don't see an option to buy new one from my Amazon account.
It is still showing the old one. (May be one FasTag for one Amazon account rule is still applicable?)

I tried from another account and today it's able to fetch the vehicle details.

At last Amazon was able to fetch vehicle details and got the fasttag.
It cost 199rs .
99rs is issuance fee and 100rs security deposit.
There is no cashback received
