How to link ICICI Fastag with Amazon Pay?

Hi! I ordered Fastag via my dad's Amazon Prime Account. He received the Fastag today, with this as the welcome letter. Nowhere does it mention Amazon Pay. I don't see the option to link the Fastag with Amazon Pay anywhere on the website. Am I missing something?

Even after closing the existing AmazonPay FasTag, I don't see an option to buy new one from my Amazon account.
It is still showing the old one. (May be one FasTag for one Amazon account rule is still applicable?)

I tried from another account and today it's able to fetch the vehicle details.

I think only one vehicle per Amazon account.
Because once the new Fastag is purchased no option to purchase additional fasttag for another vehicle

Amazon is now allowing to recharge old ICICI fastag via Amazon pay directly without any convenience charges from the app

So old ICICI fastag has suddenly become better than new one now, since old one can be used for fuel also

I’m not even sure how we are saving here, unless we’re being robbed in broad daylight by paying more in tolls than we should.

A typical toll, even when paid per day should be saving at max about 50-60 per month. Is it worth all this hassle?

this new amazon fastag sucks. Mine isn't working and is hotlisted/blocked from last 2 weeks now. I even uploaded RC, amazon still has it blocked. Ughhhhh, paytm fastag was so good, it worked wonderfully for 3 yrs.

i can't even apply for new fastag like hdfc, it says my old one is blacklisted, first close that one.

amazon says contact icici, and icici says contact amazon.

i have the new fastag where amazon pay wallet balance is default payment option for it.

someone help me for ffs.

Mine worked fine for few days but I went below security amount (not intentionally) but I put money on amazon wallet right away. But still it's blocked.

so an update. I finally after waiting for like 25 days, complained to RBI obudsman. Within 2 days got a call from ICICI twice. Promising they are addressing the matter. Then holidays (rakshabandhan/sat/sun) and today got a call from ICICI bank and they made me talk to the product lead guy and he said they have unblocked/un-hotlisted my fastag and within 3-4 hours it started working and showed "active" on amazon app (it doesn't show active right away, I guess it takes few hours). Phew. I was so sick of all this drama. I am gonna pursue some monetary damages/harassment. Monetary of 2k (which i paid extra for my trip) and harassment if it works lol. But honestly I am just happy fastag works now.

Mine is Amazon Pay ICICI Fastag (old one) but I get 1% cashback on toll spends every month. Except cashback, nothing is Amazon, everything is ICICI managed.
