Before mailing nodal, i already mailed two times, they rejected

I have been holding an IndusInd Aura Edge credit card ending xxxx

I want to upgrade to the LIFETIME FREE Indusind legend card (without any joining fees). Aura Edge features are pretty basic compared to the credit cards I hold.

Please provide me with a Lifetime Free credit upgrade.

First they said have to pay joining fees..


Then i send another email...

Once i close this card, after how many months i can apply again?

Then they said will forward request to certain team...

Then got reply,

  • Basis your email, we had referred your concern to our relevant department.
  • As per the update received, we confirm that we can upgrade your Platinum Aura Edge credit card to Signature Legend credit card with no joining / annual fee.
  • We request you to confirm the acceptance of the referred offer to arrange necessary action.
Then i accepted, they called and verified some details.

Today got the card..

I have sent a similar mail to nodal officer just like you sent, let's see what happens.

Update- They are ready to issue but they are asking to pay joining fee of 10k+gst
Let me request them again if they can issue the card with 0 fee.

Wow. Exact thing happened. First they asked for joining fee. Then i sent email in language suggested by you. Today, i got call that they are ready to give LTF! Thanks a lot.
