How to upgrade savings max to preferred account?

Hi everyone

Currently im using hdfc savings max account and i dont keep much amount it as i only open it bcoz i wanted hdfc cc and after what they did to me i was planning to close my acc asap but now due to some circumstances i need to keep 5L+ in my acc for few months so it is possible to upgrade my savings max to preferred account?? I tried seeking help from bank employees but they r just useless they say sir u will get offer if ur eligible.

Just keep 2lacs in ur account for 6 months you will get upgrade email automatic

Yes!
But however, there is a catch with savings max account!
Any excess amount will automatically get into a sweep in FD!

Then rules of FD will come into picture than money in savings account.

So, likely first consult with RM/CC regarding the same and he will help you to increase the threshold of Rs 1L to Rs 2L, so that auto sweep in doesn't come into picture!
