Note: The transactions for each category are identified through Merchant Category Codes* (MCC), defined by the Network, e.g. Visa, MasterCard and RuPay.

Mall Food courts, Nearby grocery stores, Supermarkets, Swiggy Instamart, EasyDiner, Restaurants, KFC, Dominos and DMart - working for 10% cashback (provided they have proper MCC).

This card will replace below cards (if you have look for alternative or keep as backup):

1.5% offline - Alternative to Ace 1.5% Card
10% grocery (offline) - Alternative to Manhattan 5% Card
10% grocery and food delivery (online) - Alternative to Artl 10% Card
10% dining (offline) - Alternative to Zenth 5% Card

IDFC shows the MCC in app itself. Also I have tried Citibank and it was very smooth but now its merged into axis. Hsbc also provides the MCC and also tells you which txns will give you 10% or not.

In HSBC I called and asked. Most of the customer service executive have good knowledge but if you experience someone is not helping you much then retry by reconnecting to another executive.

open the app, login, then go to support then click on chat with us. They sometimes take time to reply, but as i only need to MCC, i message and leave. whenever we get reply, you get a notification from the app

HSCB chat also available but like AMEX never know when they replied, so keep notification on.

Indian banks works only of we call and find right person.

IDCF providing in the transaction itself.
