1. Dining discounts can be over 43% with Eazydiner 25+25%, so 10% is no big deal
2. Big basket grocery discounts are 12% with Kotak and 20% with in Indusind Pioneer card, so again 10% is no big deal
3. Axis Airtel gives 10% for Swiggy/Zomato food delivery.
BigBasket, Blinkit, Swiggy, Zomato vouchers are also available on Smartbuy giving return of more than 14.5%

The main benefit is getting 10% on in-store purchases for groceries & dining where all these apps aren't supported

The main benefit is getting 10% on in-store tap & pay for groceries & dining where all these apps aren't supported
For that you have AU Lit 5+5+2.5% return when you activate grocery 5% + bonus 5% + offline 10x points (2.5%)
Activation fee 353 + 353 + 353 for 90 days.
HSBC live+ is 1179 per year

But online groceries at 12--20% discount with free home delivery are much better than offline local grocery stores (except DMart), for these reasons--
1) Free home delivery, so you don't have to carry the heavy weight
2) Cheaper than local grocery stores before the discount and much cheaper after 12--20% discount.
3) crazy cheap deals are available very often on online groceries
4) in offline stores, the customer indirectly pays for the shop rent, electricity, air conditioning and staff salaries.

All those add ons will have cumulative cost of ₹1,059.46 (incl. Gst) per quarter

5% Grocery Add-On: ₹299 per quarter.
5% Retail Add-On: ₹299 per quarter.
10x Points Add-On: ₹299 per quarter

While you get this at 999+GST per year which you get back as welcome benefit it first year and then 2lk fee waiver.

And still:
  • You don't have to always pre plan and pay for add ons
  • You have 10% on dining as well
  • Few more quick commerce apps like Zepto, Blinkit etc. gets you 10% with no additional cards as I know they might have other CC discounts
So if someone is eligible for this Card they must as it solves the purpose of getting multiple cards you mentioned above for one.

I refer to it as everything that goes to your stomach atleast is 10% discounted.

And sometimes some apps gives other stuff on grocery mccs as well 😜

its big deal for those who don't have m4b, pioneer, Infinia (all are super premium cards whereas Live+ basic card like airtel).

But there's no card giving 10% CB on offline grocery (in fact no card gives 10% CB on any offline spending)

There are lot of places in India where there's no big basket/restaurants with eazydiner.

Each card has its value.

Yes but you can't compare points with real CB. Even if you are getting extra 6.66% points in infinia via points I would still prefer HSBC because no hassle of vouchers, real cashback which I value more than points, not blocking money for buying excess amount in voucher.

Also HSBC gives Re.1 on Rs. 10 txn so on local shops no need to give a second thought to use upi or cc just tap and be happy.

1. Eazydiner doesn't work everywhere. It also has minimum spend amount for those discounts. HSBC 10% is without any TnC. Most of my dining doesn't happen at fancy expensive restaurants. 10% no strings attached off at local restaurants is still a win.
2. If you have a DMart in your area, please compare how cheaper it is versus any grocery app. 10% off makes it even cheaper. People flock like crazy at Dmart, irrespective of their financial status or being less convenient, because its cheaper. It has cheaper brands. Infact some local grocery shops even get their own supplies at a discount (sometimes even BOGO) from Dmart and resell it at MRP.
3. Valid, Axis Airtel is a no brainer for Airtel customers but, Swiggy and Zomato are way more expensive than say Magicpin, Ola or other ONDC apps. Restaurants put a lower price on ONDC since its way lesser commission. HSBC doesn't restrict you on the app you use.
