How is it double if HSBC is not giving 10% on Fk Grocery as mcc is not correct by Flipkart.
Idk what mcc Flipkart uses it doesn't even give 5% in Swiggy HDFC

From last Month Flipkart is tagging Correct MCC for Grocery Purchases.

So they Excluded Live+ so that double Dip do not happens. Also Swiggy HDFC do not give 5% on Grocery MCC.

Earlier it is Apparels but from last month Flipkart Tagging Correct MCC.


Observe the Merchant name too. It is "Flipkart Grocery" on OTP Page.

I will never do that. So, not aware. Also, limit for 10% cashback is just Rs 1000 which will not be worth risk.

Will consider that if no other option is there. Problem is I have many alternate cards which give much better return on GVs than this 1.5%.

If you're getting 1000 welcome benefit on spending 20k, that's an additional 5% as well

Also you can make any spend, even excluded categories (like wallet mcc)

I did a transaction for ₹200 on the billing date - 9th. That transaction was not found in the statement. WEIRD
Now i see RP as 3 (1.5% category) which is correct

After upgrading to LIVE+ my billing date is 9th and due date is 24th of every month
Only 14 days to pay the bill. Looks like HSBC is the only bank with less days for paying due

Only 14 days to pay the bill. Looks like HSBC is the only bank with less days for paying due

most of the cashback cards these days have around 15 days only. reward cards get most days around 18 days.

but there is no restrictions to bank to provide atleast these many days, so its upto them.
